For this task of creating a skin for an interdisciplinary student's object, I chose Alex's (landscape architecture) shape of a rock.The form of this shape is contrasting to my previous object, in that it is a very organic shape, with no evident symmetry or structure to its surface.The surface of the rock has slight irregular indents curving in, as well as edges sloping down at varying angles.I think this organic nature of the surface will create difficulties in me being able to replicate the skin in a regular, methodically way.
